Village Darjanitsa
The village of Darjanitsa (Vidin district) is located in North-West Bulgaria and is included in municipality Dimovo. It is situated 26.77 km. Northeast of the municipal center town of Dimovo and 6 km. from the main road Vidin - Lom. Neighboring villages are Archar, Mali Drenovets and Botevo. Through the village passes river of Archar known among the local population like a river Archaritsa and suitable for fishing.
Cultural and historical landmarks: a small temple, named "Archangel Michael" in the village. On the outskirts of Darzhanitsa there is a cave called "Sudenata dupka" ("The Cold hole"). The name derives from the fact unexplained chill comes from its inside.
