Village Kladorub

The village of Kladorub is located in Vidin district (North-West Bulgaria), and is one of the villages from municipality Dimovo. It is situated 7.33 km. West of the municipal town of Dimovo and 7 km. from the main road Vidin - Montana. Neighboring villages are Rabisha, Varba and Ostrokaptsi. The river of Archar flows throw the village and 5 km. in west direction is situated dam of Farfun which is suitable for sport fishing.

History: Kladorub Village lies on the ruins of an ancient settlement. The name of this settlement was Konbustika (Conbustica) and it noted in the Roman roadmap Tabula Peutengiriana as point from the road  Ratiaria (Archar) to Naisos (Nish, Serbia). At this place lie the remains of an ancient Roman camp of auxiliaries. Here, during the Roman occupation, was built a stone fort with a rectangular plan at area more than 2 hectares. Roman finds of imported pottery and metal objects suggest that this happened during the I century After the Dacian Wars of emperor Trajan.

Cultural and natural attractions:
- 6 kilometers west is situated the Magura cave. It is world famous with its rock paintings.
- at distance of 18 km to the south is situated another landmark - the Belogradchik rocks.
