The village of Skomlya is located in Vidin district (North-West Bulgaria), and is one of the villages from municipality Dimovo. It is situated 11.73 km. South of town Dimovo at the main road E79 Vidin-Montana. Skomlya neighboring villages are Bela, Medovnitsa and Dalgo pole. Through the village flows river of Skomlya and at distance of 7 km. in east direction is situated dam of Drenovets which is suitable for recreation and fishing.
