Village Stakevtsi
The village of Stakevtsi (Vidin district) is located in North-West Bulgaria and is included in municipality Belogradchik. It is situated 17.02 km. Southwest of Belogradchik. Neighboring villages are Krachimir, Praudzha and Varbovo. For fans of fishing - Stakevska river passes along the village.
The legend for the village founding tells there were two brothers - Krachoun and Stayko, who lived together in the ареа around. One day the brothers quarreled and decided to separate. One went left, other - right and both settled at new places. The 1st brother Krachun founded today village of Krachimitr and other (Stoyko) today village of Stakevtsi.
