Village Krachimir
The village of Krachimir (Vidin district) is located in North-West Bulgaria and is included in municipality Belogradchik. It is situated 14.18 km. Southwest of Belogradchik. Neighboring villages are Stakevtsi, Praudzha and Salash. For fans of fishing - Stakevska river passes along the village.
The legend about the village is: there were two brothers Krachoun and Stayko. Both lived with their families in the region. One day the brothers quarreled and decided to change his residence. One went to the left, another - to the right, and both settled at new places. Krachoun was founded current village of Krachimir and Stayko - village of Stakevtsi.
Sightseeing: in the area of "Ravni kladenets" there is a monument of the victims in the Serbo-Bulgarian war from the village of Krachimir.
