The village of Borovitsa (Vidin district) is located in North-West Bulgaria and is included in municipality Belogradchik. It is situated 10.05 km. South of town of Belogradchik. Neighboring villages are Protopopintsi, Izvoz and Yanyovets. For fans of fishing - the river Stakevska (a tributary of the river Lom) passes through the village.

Sightseeing: The only remnant of the old village is a church built in 1866. It is located 2.5 km West from the village. Frescoes, icons and wooden altar are preserved. Bell tower rises high above the picturesque valley among the rocks and forests. Near the village are situated the rock "Borov kamak" (`Pine Stone") and" cave "Neprivetlivata:" ("Unfriendly"). About 500 meters away from Borovitsa is located waterfall Boboka.
