Studentski grad (Student town) quarter is lockated some 7km southeast of the centre of Sofia. It was created in the 1960s and is a common living place for most of the students of Sofia`s numerous universies. Over 25 000 Bulgarian and foreigner young people live there. Despite the blocks of flates are old and windswept the Studentski grad quarter is one of the fastest changing places in the Bulgaria, with flashy new bars, clubs and fast-food joints springing up almost daily to satisfy the voracious leisure-time appetites of Sofia`s hormone-fuelled student comunity. It is attractive with its lively nightlife. If you feel like partying 24 hours a day, seven days a week, then this is the place to do it.
