The town of Buhovo (Sofia-city District) is located in Municipality Stolichna. It is situated North-west from Sofia city (after village of Yana) in foot of Murgash ridge of West Stara Planina mountain. The town was rised as miner`s village around the forme coal-mines (already closed) .
Landmarks: monastery "Sveti Arkhangel Mikhail" (3km from Buhovo), monastery "Sveti Maria Magdalena", ancient fortress "Gradishte".
