Town Novi Iskar
The town of Novi Iskar (Sofia-city District) is located in South-West Bulgaria and is included in municipality Stolichna. It is situated 16 kilometers north of the capital city of Sofia to the west of the railway Sofia - Mezdra. The nearest villages are Katina (4.5 kilometers north-west), Dobroslavtsi (5 kilometers west), and the Mirovyane (4.5 kilometers south-west). Novi Iskar is the second-largest town in district Sofia city and consists of 5 quarters: Slavovtsi, Kumaritsa, Kurilo, Sunrise and Gnilyane.
