Quarter Hipodruma

The quarter of Hipodruma is located close to the Sofia center. On the southeast it borders Bulgaria Blvd. (and Strelbishte quarter), on the southwest - Kyustendil Str. (and Beli brezi quarter), at west to Tzar Boris III Blvd. (and Lagera quarter) and at northeastern to Acad. Ivan Geshov blvd. (and region of Meditsinska akademia). 
It is a favored area because it is close to the city center and but at the same time is quiet and very green quarter. The buildings there are low (2-4 storey) brick constructions from the end of the sixties, monolithic constructions from the eighties and high-rise large-area shuttering (EPK). The end of the nineties gave rise to new development in the quarter, mainly around Ruchei Sq. and Bulgaria Blvd. The big Bila supermarket is situated there.
Hipodruma has an excellent infrastructure, which includes all kinds of public transport.
