Village Lyaskovo
The village of Lyaskovo (Plovdiv district) is located in South-Central Bulgaria and is included in municipality Asenovgrad. It lies at the foot of the Western Rhodopes (north slopes), around 28 km away from regional center city of Plovdiv and 9 km away from municipal center - town Assenovgrad. The nearest village is Yavrovo (3km west) - the birthplace of the great Bulgarian writer Nikolay Haitov. North of Lyaskovo, there is a splendid view to the Thracian lowland and mountains "Sredna gora" and "Stara planina".
Recently, the village garner interest among tourists and therefore widely bought and restored old houses and new hotels and guest houses were built. The village has also a pub with more than 100 years of history.
