Village Lomets
The village of Lomets is located in North-Western Bulgaria and included in Municipality Troyan (Lovech District). It is situated 13 km from the municipal center town of Troyan. Most attractive about the village of Lomets is the recently found Roman Castle Sostra. On the place are found many valuable finds like coins, utensils, memorial stones. The most valuable find is a an ancient Trakian mask which is dated about V-IV century before Christ. The mask is found on pieces and is restored. It is being kept in the National Historical Museum in Sofia.
