Village Tuja
The picturesque Balkan village of Tuja is located in South-Eastern Bulgaria. It is included in Municipality Pavel banya (Stara Zagora District). It is not a mere coincidence that one of the offices of the Department of National Park Central Balkan. The beautiful Tuja gorge, which forms the south-easternmost spurs of the Djendema Natural reserve starts from here and there are also many convenient mountain trails that will take the tourists to the other Natural reserve – Sokolna and hut Sokolna.
The local Historical museum is arranged in the Community center of the village of Tuja. It hosts an interesting archaeological and ethnographical collection. An art gallery of pictures dedicated to the village and the surrounding nature is exhibited in an old house.
