Village Krumovo
The village of Krumovo is located in South-Central Bulgaria. It is included in Municipality Rodopi (Plovdiv District). The Maritsa river is meandering at 2 km from Krumovo. The village was found 1639 with the name Pashamakhala. From 1890 the village has its current name Krumovo. Nowdays (2007) the population is between 3300 - 3500 inhabitants and around 1020 houses.
The village is well-known with famous grapes sort Krumovski Mavrud.
