Municipality Madjarovo
The Madjarovo municipality is located in eastern part of South-Central Bulgaria in Haskovo District, between the Haskovo hilly area and the slopes of the Eastern Rhodopes. It borders on Harmanli municipality to the north, the municipalities of Kroumovgrad and Ivaylovgrad to the south, Lubimets municipality to the east, and Stambolovo municipality to the west. The Municipality consists of regional center town of Madjarovo and 18 villages. The border control points nearest to Madzharovo Municipality are: Kapitan Andreevo - 74 km to the east of Madzharovo town, and Kapitan Petko Voivida (Smolyan province) - 56 km far from the municipal center.
