Dimitrovgrad municipality is located in South-Central Bulgaria in Haskovo District. The Municipality consists of 27 cities and villages. The regional center of Dimitrovgrad municipality is Town of Dimitrovgrad.
The municipality of Dimitrovgard is situated on an area of 564 000 decares in the Thracian lowland along the valley of the river Maritsa. Geographical position of the town of Dimitrovgrad defines its place of an important transport crossing in south Bulgaria.
