Village Stalevo
The village of Stalevo (Haskovo district) is located in South-Central Bulgaria and is included in municipality Dimitrovgrad. It is situated between several hills and two rivers, 23 km. north of the town Haskovo, west of the town of Dimitrovgrad, south of town of Chirpan and east town of Parvomay. The village has a railway station from Plovdiv-Svilengrad-Sofia railway line.
Stalevo has town hall, health service, shopping center, bistro, food shop, cafe, two shops,community center "Vassil Levski", post office and own pump station for drinking water.
Sightseeing:
- Church "St.Archangel Mihail" in Stalevo - built by Albanians in 1897.
- Chapel "St. 40 Machenitsi" in the area of "Hasar" and the large stone beside him, during which people pass for health. It is claimed that the stones in the area are part of a Thracian sanctuary.
