The village of Sredogriv (Vidin district) is located in North-West Bulgaria and is part from municipality Chuprene.  It is situated 18.12 km. northeast of the municipal center village of Chuprene. Adjacent to the village Sredogriv are villages Dolni Lom, Targovishte and Protopopintsi. River of Lom, that is suitable for fishing, passes through the village.

Sightseeing: The village arose in antiquity, as evidenced the tracks found near the settlement and mostly in the "Babu" locality. This area is a rocky wooded terrain of the frontier lands between villages of Sredogiv and Gyurgich. It has historical and cultural value because there were a Roman settlement and a Roman fortress, whose ruins exist even today. Northeast of the fortress are found remains of a monastery and at northwest - remains of a castle and church or chapel. There are many legends about this place that arouse curiosity and imagination, attracting with its mysterious caves, hidden Roman treasures, guarded by beasts and mystical occult traps.
