Village Oreshak
Oreshak (district of Lovech) is a village in North-western planing region of Bulgaria. It is located within the boundaries of municipality Troyan. It is a mountain resort situated just 2km to the southeast of town Troyan, in the skirts of the Balkan mountain. The village is becoming increasing popular among those fond of rural and ecotourism for its ancient atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.
The greatest attractions of village Oreshak are: Troyan Monastery (3th largest monastery in Bulgaria); the National Arts and Crafts Exhibition (the only place in Bulgaria where master-craftsmen from all over the country display their work. There are nine exhibition halls, with total of 4500 sq. m. of display space, as well as a multifunctional conference hall, spread over a 50000 sq. m. site).
