Village Negovanovtsi
The village of Negovanovtsi is located in Vidin district (North-West Bulgaria), and is one of the villages from municipality Novo selo. It is situated 11.95 km. South of village of Novo Selo. Neighboring villages аре Vinarovо, Yasen and Major Uzunovo. Along the village, 2 km. away, passes the Danube River which is suitable for fishing and water sports.
Sightseeing:
- There are excavations of a mound situated near Negovanovtsi. It was used twice as a necropolis - in Roman and medieval Bulgarian (XIV century). Ritual burials were carried out there. In graves of males, females and children`s were found pieces of equipment - textile with gold and silver thread, buttons, earrings, rings, necklaces of beads, trims iron man belt buckles and other metal objects.
- The village has a monument to the dead in the I and II World Wars.
