Village Gorni Lom
The village of Gorni Lom (Vidin District) is located in North-West Bulgaria at the two banks of the river Lom and belongs to the Municipality Chuprene. It is situated 15.33 km. East of the municipal center village of Chuprene. Neighbour villages are Replyana and Dolni Lom. The village lies on both banks of the river Lom and the place is suitable for recreation and fishing.
History: The name comes from words "Gorni" (the upper) for the part of of the river, and the lush river of Lom, collecting tributaries of the rivers of Leva, Braza and Poklaska.
Sights: West from the village is peak Midzhur (2168m) which is highest in West Stara Planina mountain.
