Village Vodna
The village of Vodna (Vidin district) is located in North-West Bulgaria and is included in municipality Gramada. It is situated on the left bank of the river Kuchovets, 4 km. east of the municipal center Gramada and 25 km. southwest of the regional center Vidin. The village name comes from "voda" (water) because the region is rich of springs and water resources.
Sightseeing:
Besides the numerous springs and wells the village has several cultural attractions: In the "Dartia path" (The Old road) area were found the remains of ancient Thracian and Roman settlement with mural wall. Remains of Thracian and Roman settlements are found also in the region of Mitolitsa, where in ancient times there were workshops for iron processing. There were found artifacts, dating from the second half of IV century
