Village Hvoyna
The village of Hvoina is located in South-Central Bulgaria on the main road Plovdiv-Smolyan. It is a starting point to Persenk Chalet (2.30-3 h.) and Kabata Chalet (3 h.), from where in 3 hours and 1.30 hours respectively hikers can reach the phenomenal rocks Choudnite Mostove, near which there are two chalets - Choudnite Mostove Chalet and above it - a bigger and better furnished Skalnite Mostove Chalet.
The major summer celebration is St. Illia day on the 20th of July when people from all over Bulgaria who came from Hvoina return here to participate in the festivities.
