The village of Karash (Vratsa district) is located in North-West Bulgaria and is part from municipality Roman. It is situated 7.52 km. south of town of Roman. Neighboring villages are Hubavene, Sredni rat and Strupets. Тhrough the village passes Malak Iskar River which is suitable for fishing.

Sightseeing: Up against the river Iskar are found the ruins of fortress Krivgrad - Bulgarian stronghold from the Middle Ages. There were excavated parts of towers and defensive walls, built of crushed stone and mortar.
