Village Vaksevo

The village of Vaksevo (Kyustendil District) is located in South-West Bulgaria and is included in Municipality Nevestino. It is a mountain village that consists of 48 small separate hamlets. The river Eleshnitsa pass the village and then infuse in Struma river. Vaksevo is about 20 km away from the ski slopes in Ososgovo mountain and only 40 kms from Borovets ski resort.
Landmarks: the centuries-old (near 400 years) walnut-tree (25m high and diameter 4.90) situated in area of Sapundjiyska hamlet; Historical - etnologic museum in village of Vaksevo; Ancient village in area Studena voda (1km north from Vaksevo).
