The village of Zverino (Municipality Mezdra, Vratsa District) is located in pictorial Iskar gorge (North-West Bulgaria) at distance 70km North-West from the capital city of Sofia and 20km South-West from municipal center town of Mezdra.

The village is situated at crossroad between villages of Ignatitsa, Oselna, Eliseyna and town of Mezdra. There is regular bus connections to town of Mezdra and railway connection to Mezdra and Sofia.

Some remains of ancient Roman fortress were found in the region around the village of Zverino.
