Village Selanovtsi
The village of Selanovtsi (Vratsa District) is located in North-West region of Bulgaria and is part of Municipality Oryahovo. It is one of the biggest (by population) villages in north-western Bulgaria. The village has old history. In the areas of "Monastery" and "Kosanya" were found remains of Thracian settlements inhabited during the Iron Age, second and first millennium BC.
Selanovtsi Landmarks: monument To the fallen in World War and the Balkan War; monument To the fallen in the Antifascist War; the old village - remains of the church and 3 fountains from Ottoman times; natural reserve protected by law snowdrop species, swamp and water lily.
