Village Nivyanin
The village of Nivyanin (Vratsa district) is located in North-West Bulgaria and is part from municipality Borovan. It is situated 6.77 km. South of the village Borovan. Adjacent to the village Nivyanin are villages Borovan, Bukovets and Ohoden. River of Skat (suitable for sport fishing) passes through the village.
History: The old name of the village is Dzhurilovo. Dzhurilovo is a medieval old-Bulgarian settlement, which was part of the territory of the Tatar village Sovat that was existed from 1865 to 1877
The village was renamed by decree No 3 of 11.01. 1950 of Nivyanin. This is poetic alias of the partisan Ivan Nedkov who is from the same village.
