The village of Varana (Pleven district) is located in North-Western Bulgaria and is included in municipality Levski. The village is situated on the road connecting the town of Levski with village of Ovcha mogila and continuing to town of Svishtov. Varana village is passed by the river of Lomya, which has well preserved flora and fauna and attracts many tourists and fishing enthusiasts. The region is rich of high ground waters - a depth of 3 to 5 meters above the ground.
