Village Gigen
The village of Gigen is located in North-Western Bulgaria, on the Danube, close to the place where the Iskar River empties into it, opposite the Romanian town of Corabia. The village is included in Municipality Gulyantsi (Pleven District). Gigen is most famous for being built on the site of the important Roman colony of Oescus.
