Village Saparevo
The village of Saparevo is located in South-West Bulgaria, just 4 kilometers East of town of Sapareva Banya, at the foot of the north slopes of Rila Mountain. This is a quintessential Bulgarian village set in the rolling foot hills of Rila Mountain. Life here is traditional and centered largely around the Eastern Orthodox Church.
There are good conditions for development of the rural tourism in the village, because Sapaervo is a starting point for many tourist objects in Rila Mountain.
Landmarks: Church of the Devine Mother near the center, Paraklic of The Archangel Micheal (hiking 25 minutes up), a monument for the perished people during the wars for the Bulgarian unification, hapels St. George, St. Peter and Pavel, St. Elias, etc.
