The village of Trunkovo is located in the south-eastern part of Bulgaria in Elhovo municipality, at 5 km from town of Elhovo, 40 km from town of Yambol, 100 km from the Sea town of Bourgas and 30 km from Bulgarian-Turkish border. Near the Trunkovo village is the Tundzha river - the biggest feeder of Maritsa river, that flow in it of Turkish territory.
