Alino

The village of Alino (Sofia province) is located in South-western Bulgaria and is part of the municipality of Samokov. It is situated at the foot of the Plana mountain.
Sightseeing: Close to the village (about 6-7 km north-east direction) in the Plana mountain is situated Monastery of Alino "St.Spas" with interesting frescoes from 17 century. Nearby are the ruins of a medieval fortress Alinsko kale. Next to the village were found several Thracian mounds, which are the earliest historical evidence of life on these lands.
