Kula is a small town in the Northwestern part of Bulgaria, Vidin district. It stands 32km from Vidin and 13km from the frontier with Serbia. There is a historical information, according to which in the prehistoric times, a man has looked a place for living and near to the nowadays town of Koula was settled the hill of Magura with its famous cave. The town, itself is built over remains of the Romanian fortress of Castra Martis, now located in the town center.
