Town of Zlataritsa, Veliko TurnovoThe town of Zlataritsa (administrative centre of municipality Zlataritsa) is located in North-Central Bulgaria. It is situated in the east part of Veliko Tarnovo region, at the foot of the Fore- Balkan mountain. Zlataritsa is settled at the distance of 15 km. to the southeast from Veliko Tarnovo, at 12 km. to the north of Elena and about at 45 km. to the northeast of Gabrovo town.
After the Liberation, the town of Zlataritsa existed as an independent administrative unit. After a 100 years later the town is again municipality. The north parts of the Zlataritsa vicinities are lowland.
