Glozhene Monastery

The Village of Glojene is located in North-Central Bulgaria. It is included in Municipality Teteven (Lovech District). It is situated at the foot of the peak Kamen Lisets near the Vit river. The name of the village is related with duke Glozh laid the beginning of the settlement.
The beautiful nature with historical sights in the vicinity of Glojene - the monastery "St. Georgi Pobedonosets", the waterfall Varovitets, the caves Morovitsa, Draganchovitsa, Bezdunna Pchelin, Yamata - show wide perspectives for development of the settlement as a touristic resort object.
